What is a Partial and Incomplete Delivery?
- Partial delivery: Fewer parcels/pallets arrive than announced, with more expected later.
- Incomplete delivery: Fewer parcels/pallets arrive than announced, with no more expected.
What You Need To Do In Case of Partial or Incomplete Deliveries
Partial Deliveries
In the case of a partial delivery, all parcels and pallets that arrive on a specific day will be processed immediately. The warehouse will accept the delivery and start inbounding it according to byrd's SLA.
For the items will arrive later, you must create a new delivery for the remaining items.
- Track Deviations: Any discrepancies between the announced and actual quantities will be visible in the dashboard.
Examples:
- Partial Deliveries: If the delivery is incomplete, and no more items are expected, no further action is needed.
