To guarantee a smooth and timely inbounding of your goods, it is essential to announce your deliveries in the Dashboard before sending your inventory. This process ensures that your deliveries are properly tracked and processed upon arrival.
1. Access the Inventory Section
- Log into your byrd dashboard.
- Navigate to the "Inventory" section.
2. Create a New Delivery
- Go to "Deliveries".
- Click on "New Delivery".
3. Choose Products for the Delivery
- Select products for the delivery either manually or via CSV file.
4. Select Delivery Method
- Choose how the delivery will be sent, either through pallets or parcels.
- If your delivery requires counting, you can select this option.
5. Enter Delivery Information
- Enter further details about where, how, and when the delivery will be made.
- If you have a multi-warehouse setup, select the warehouse to which you want to deliver.
- Choose the carrier and delivery type.
- Note: At the moment, only the regular truck delivery type will be available for most customers. If you have a container delivery or a truck delivery, please inform your Onboarding Manager.
6. Select Estimated Time of Arrival
- The last step in this section is to select a time frame for the estimated time of arrival.
- Note: For more information on the lead time required for delivery notices prior to arrival, depending on the size, please refer to the delivery guidelines.
7. Download and Print the Delivery Note
- Download and print the Delivery Note.
- Attach it to each parcel or pallet.
Important Points
- Check our Delivery Guidelines and Requirements before sending your inventory. Deliveries that are not compliant with our guidelines, might get rejected or additional fees could be charged for the inbounding.
- First-time deliveries must be announced one week in advance.
- Subsequent deliveries can be announced three days in advance.
- Deliveries that include new products (products that were not previously in stock) must also be announced one week in advance.
