To integrate byrd with your Shopware 6 store, follow these steps to install the plugin. Before installation, make sure that you've done a backup of your database.
1. Install the byrd Plugin from the Zip File
Upload the Plugin:
- Open your Shopware 6 admin panel.
- Go to “Extensions” → “My Extensions.”
- Click the “Upload extension” button.
Select and Upload the Zip File:
- A window will pop up where you can select the zip file provided by the byrd team at the early stage of your onboarding.
- Select the file and wait for the upload to complete.
- The plugin will now be visible in your list of extensions.
Install and Activate the Plugin:
- Click on “Install” and then activate the plugin using the toggle on the left side.
2. Configure API Settings
After installing the plugin, configure the API settings to connect your Shopware 6 store with byrd:
Access byrd Configuration:
- Go to “Settings” → “Extensions”.
- Click on “byrd configuration”.
Enter API Key and Save:
- Add the API key and other necessary configurations.
- Click “Save” to complete the setup.
