Shopify Integration

Connect your Shopify store to your byrd account and streamline your fulfillment process. Follow these steps to integrate your Shopify store:

1. Log in to Your Accounts

• Log in to your Shopify admin account.
• Log in to your byrd Dashboard in another tab.

2. Add Your Shop Connection

• Go to “Profile” in the byrd Dashboard.
• Open the "Shop Connections" tab.
• Click "Add Shop Connection", select "Shopify" and enter your shop name and domain (make sure to copy the domain from your Shopify tab.)

3. Install the byrd App in Shopify Account

• Click "Save" to be redirected to your Shopify account.
• Click "Install unlisted app".

Your shop should now be visible in your byrd Dashboard.

Adjust Shopify Settings to Ship from the byrd Fulfillment Warehouse

Once the product stock is synced from byrd to your shop, you will see the byrd location stock option for each product. If you cannot see the stock, please contact us to sync it again.

Here’s how you can automate your order fulfillment with Shopify Flow or the Basic Shopify Plan:

Shopify Flow - For Shopify, Advanced, or Shopify Plus Plan Users

1. Follow the steps in this »video guide«.
2. Once done, turn on the workflow to complete the Shopify Flow setup.

Basic Shopify Plan Users

1. Go to “Settings” → “Checkout” in your Shopify admin.
2. In the “Order processing” section, under “After an order has been paid”, select “Automatically fulfill the order's line items”.
3. Click “Save”.

Now, every new order will be fulfilled automatically.

Setting Shipping Rates & Location Priority

To ensure efficient shipping and delivery, it is important to set shipping rates and prioritize your locations correctly. The setup process varies based on whether you use a single fulfillment provider or multiple providers.

Single Fulfillment Provider Setup

1. Set Shipping Rates
   • Go to “Settings” → “Shipping and delivery” in Shopify.
   • Depending on your settings, choose "General shipping rates" or "Custom shipping rates", then put "byrd" to the top

Multiple Fulfillment Locations/Providers Setup

If you use more than one fulfillment provider, follow these steps to manage shipping rates and prioritize locations:

1. Set Shipping Rates
   • Go to “Settings” → “Shipping and delivery” in Shopify.
   • Click “Manage” to set rates for the destinations you want to ship with byrd.
   • Add shipping zones for each location you want to process with byrd or another provider.
2. Set Location Priority
   • Go to “Settings” → “Locations.”
   • Click “View and edit location priority,” set the priority for each location based on your shipping strategy, and press “Save.”
3. Process Orders by Location/Provider

Manage orders for different regions with specific fulfillment providers:

• Example: Process orders to Germany with byrd and UK orders with another provider.
• Add shipping zones for each location you want to process with byrd or another provider.
