Amazon Prime - customer requirements checklist

Customer-facing requirements are as follows:

  • Setup of byrd dashboard / SKUs 

    • Provide information, on which SKUs are to be used for Amazon Prime 

    • Barcodes on every product/ready-to-ship packaging

    • Stock must not drop to 0

    • (Customer provided) PM must not drop to 0

    • Customs information, origin, the net value of products

    • The order shall contain all necessary information required by the warehouse

    • Amazon shop must be connected to byrd dashboard

    • All disruptions regarding Amazon Prime must be communicated to byrd directly

  • Carrier settings

    • Daily DPD pickup is to be requested by the customer

    • Daily DPD pickup is between 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm CET

    • Daily pickups will take place Monday - Friday, except for German national holidays

    • The cutoff time for orders is 2 pm CET

    • The backup carrier must be provided by the customer

    • DPD shipping labels must be provided to the warehouse

    • Tracking link must be provided to byrd in necessary

  • Shipments

    • Shipments by DPD to end consumers will be Monday - Saturday subject to German national holidays

    • >5 Amazon Prime orders/parcels a day

    • Order cancel quote due to missing stock must be <1%

    • Dimensions of parcels cannot exceed 175 cm in length and 300 cm in girth

    • Max. weight of 1 parcel is 31.5 kg

  • Returns

    • End consumers will receive prepaid return labels
