The best way to handle returns is to use our Returns Portal. Here is the most important information:
If you decide not to use our returns' Portal (currently available for all German warehouses and the UK only) and want to advise your customers to return shipments on their own, there are a few things you need to keep in mind to make sure that the return can be identified and processed at the warehouse:
- The return must be sent back to the warehouse from which it came.
- The byrd ID must be noted on the return
- The recipient's name should be noted on the return
- The order ID should note on the return
Intact returns will be put back into stock after acceptance.
Broken returns need a separate collection storage. For this, you should already have a return SKU in your dashboard.
Collected broken returns can be disposed, picked up or shipped to a destination of your choice.
